The first inter-school robotics competition was organized under the auspices of Taos Foundation, an NGO active in the United States, which is providing significant services in the education sector. The students of Mount mercy school participate and won the prize in the competition titled “21st Century and Future Skills”. This competition was held on Sunday 23rd July 2023 at Dr Haider Khan Hall Malikpet in which students from different schools from different places of the city participated. The event was sponsored by the Deccan Alumni Association of North America.
Syed Mazharuddin Hussaini, the founder of another American organization, SEED Foundation, which is active in educational and social fields in many states of the country, participated as a special guest. On this occasion, he congratulated the students who received the prizes. Mr. Mazhar Hussaini said that many facilities are available for students to get education in the present era which were not available before. Students should utilize these facilities and come forward in fields like Information Technology, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. He said that it is important for the quality of education of students that the quality of teachers should be high. For this purpose teachers training courses are being organized by Seed Foundation
Other schools participating in this competition include Mesco Grade High School Malakpet, Don high School malakpet, New Model School Hussaini Alam, Huda High School Karimnagar.
